My family might be a little different than most. We sometimes fight over food. This battle is over gluten-free bread. Yes, we are crazy gluten-free family, I know.
My husband enjoys a slice or two of Celeste’s Best Gluten-Free, Yeast Free Multi-Grain Bread in the morning. I usually bake up 2 loaves and we freeze one loaf. He’ll grab a slice or two from the freezer and toast it up for breakfast. I’ve been busy and my husband’s stash is dwindling.
Because he’s not the only one enjoying the bread. My daughter likes it, too. And my husband’s at odds with my daughter right now over how often my daughter can eat the gluten-free bread. And even when and how she eats it for that matter. (I did mention my family was a bit on the crazy side, didn’t I?) My husband actually refers to the gluten-free bread as “gold” – meaning he places a pretty high value on it. He feels it should only be used for meals. My daughter chooses to eat the bread as a snack. And you have no idea how much this so irks my husband.
Celeste’s Best Gluten-Free, Allergen-Free Recipes and make their own gluten-free bread? Absolutely! No doubt they both can. So why is it always me making the bread? I have no idea. If any of you have any clues let me know.
