Dry Measuring Cups

I have several sets of measuring cups. The Norpro Grip EZ set I would have to say is my favorite for a few reasons. They are a study set that can take a lot of wear and tear. The set contains six measuring cups including 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 and one-cup sizes. The measuring spoons come in 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, and one teaspoon–as well as 1/2 and single-tablespoon sizes. And my most favorite reason is that the numbers on the handles will never fade away.

All that said the Progressive Prepworks set is a very close second. This is a comprehensive 19-piece kitchen measuring set in red, white and teal. Fun colors in the kitchen. The cup measurements include: 1/8, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, and 1. But it gets better they also include: 1-1/2, 1-3/4 and 2 cups. Saves time to have these extra sizes.

The spoon measurements: 1/32 tsp., 1/16 tsp., 1/8 tsp., 1/4 tsp., 1/2 tsp., 1 tsp., 2 tsp. (I love this additional size, too) 1/2 Tbls and 1 Tbls.

And to note also to save you some time in my recipes: 1½ teaspoons = ½ tablespoon.
