Amaranth Flour

                                Amaranth flour is a whole grain, nutritionally dense gf flour used in my bread recipes.

Amaranth flour is ground from the cream colored seed of the amaranth plant. Amaranth is an herb that originates in South America where it has been grown for over 5000 years. Amaranth is an easy to digest complete protein containing all of the essential amino acids needed by the body. It is also a good source of calcium, fiber, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese and iron. 

Now Brands has an organic amaranth flour. It's available on Amazon and iherb. I recently started using Vitacost brand amaranth flour and have been very pleased with that as well.
